Protect your Child’s Future Health

 

More and more young children are being stricken with what used to be termed as adult disorders or disease.  These disorders include:  heart attacks, kidney failure, diabetes, digestive disorders and cancer.

We also label our children with:

* A.D.D (Attention deficit disorder)
* O.D.D (Oppositional Defiant Disorder)
* A.D.H.D (Attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder)

These household acronyms are not normal!

It is not normal for children as young as 5 years old to be on prescribed medications because their nervous system has been damaged by chemicals in their food, environment and inherited birth toxins.  Many of these damaging chemicals (toxins) are being delivered before birth.  Women have more fat cells than men, because we give birth.  However, toxins, as well as nutrients, are stored in fat.  Pregnant women eating the “Standard American Diet “carry large amounts of toxins in their fat cells and as a result pass an immeasurable amount of toxins to their unborn child.

Many babies are coming into the world with a high amounts of toxins in their body, no wonder our children are sick.

What are we going to do?

READ LABELS.

If the items your are purchasing include: artificial flavors (Red #40, Yellow #5, etc, aluminum, BHT or BHA, return these products to the shelf.  These ingredients affect your children’s nervous system and brain function.

Feed your children plenty of whole grains, beans, fish, or chicken legs (brown meat contains more nutrients and offer more support for growing muscle), raw seeds and nuts (grind nuts for younger children and sprinkle on oatmeal, bananas, cereal), baked potatoes, seasonal squash, a large variety of fruits and vegetables, organic grain cereals, organic yogurt, soy, rice or almond milk.  Cook with herbs instead of table salt.  To sweeten use very small amounts of pure maple syrup, molasses, raw sugar, fruit sugar or plant sugar (stevia).

Try baking your own bread.  Shelf breads contain at least 70 chemicals (many are not listed), some of these chemicals accumulate in the brain.  Baking your own bread requires not more than 4 to 7 ingredients.

Say NO to the microwave, it destroys needed nutrients to feed cells.  Instead, use crock pots, bread makers or toaster ovens to cook and reheat foods.

Poor eating habits lead to a multitude of health disorders; if the body is not healthy neither is the mind.  Start nourishing the cells of your children’s body; the result can be a healthier nervous system, brain and happier child.
